Do you have snow? How much?
Idyllwild usually receives between three and four feet of snow
during the winter months, sometimes much more. In 2004, it snowed as
early as October in Idyllwild. For current weather conditions, we
suggest you check the current weather forecast for our area.

Does my car require
chains?
It's probably a good idea to be prepared and bring chains with you
if there is even the slightest chance of snow in our area. You can
check the CalTrans Road
Conditions web site, but it is not always updated with the most
current information. You might want to call a merchant in town to
find out if the roads are clear before venturing up our mountain.

Are public restrooms available?
Yes. Public restrooms are available at the Ranger Station and The
Fort. Restrooms at The Fort require a token
for entry. Customers may use the restrooms in Village Lane, in the
new Village Centre, and in many of the business establishments,
restaurants, and galleries in town.
